11 downloadable Walks – historical, village and countryside
The Barrowby Jitties and Byways walk concentrates on the village itself. Vistas, Canals and Streams offers 7 walks in and around the parish to include Surprise View, the Grantham Canal, Old and Mow Becks and Denton Reservoir. Then there are 3 more challenging walks on offer including Barrowby Hill, down into the Vale and up onto the ridge beyond Harlaxton.

All the walks are circular and all start at the Village Green (Stevens Gutter) facing the butchers. Please park safely. Each walk is marked as suitable either for families, regular or more experienced walkers.
We recommend stout footwear. There might be stiles on the longer walks. Please keep dogs under control and on a lead with livestock or where marked. Please take all litter and poo bags home with you and close all gates behind you. Please follow the public footpaths and rights of way. None of these walks use paths that are not marked as rights of way.
