Our ref: 614156 – A1 from Stamford to Blyth
I am writing to inform you of some upcoming essential vegetation management work on the A1 between Stamford and Blyth.
During this work, we will be cutting the grass as well as pruning branches, trees and shrubs along the A1. By carrying out this work, it will restore the degraded grassland and remove any obstructions and encroachments on the A1.
This work will be carried out from Monday 5 December and completed by the end of March 2023. We’ll be working mainly overnight, between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday, when there is less traffic on the road.
Works will be switching between northbound and southbound carriageways and will take place within a lane closure. One lane will remain open at all times.
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
